However, the app does not seem to account for varying time zones, thus making the listed values rather meaningless.
You can left-click on an item to have the app take you to the product’s website or right-click to be taken to its listing on Product Hunt. Once you have performed either of these actions, the entry will be grayed-out, indicating that the article has been read.
Handy application that provides alerts to keep you up-to-date
Whenever a new product is featured, The Hunt displays a notification on your desktop, and the menu bar icon changes to let you know that your attention is required.
If the existing products do not seem very interesting, you can mark all of them as read with a single mouse click. Unfortunately, however, it is not possible to remove items from the list or specify how many new entries should be displayed at any given time.

All in all, The Hunt is a useful application for anyone who spends time on Product Hunt checking for new featured items, as it displays desktop notifications and lists the most recent articles in your menu bar. However, it would help if some more customization options were added, as well as timestamps that took the user’s location into account.
